The latest book to come out of our shambolic book club at work has been selected.
Is it just me, or is everything shit looks like it will be a good read and funny. So far, I’ve has to put up with two serious, unfunny, and arduous reads, so this is a welcome break.
Looking forward to it.
TIME TO START LIVING 
With reference to what must be a rhetorical question I am going to address anyway, in the title, I think anyone who has grown out of being sucked in by marketing has been slapped in the face by the fact that the world is flawed, as is everyone you looked up to & that modern life is rubbish.
Not that you couldn’t spend a good 150 odd cathartic pages ranting about it & sending it up.
{Fans of language: the use of , ‘send up’ in the sense of ,’to make a parody of’, is considered chiefly British, & informal.}
